Shihan Rajendran K first tasted the spirit of Karate during his childhood in 1979 under Sensei Dr. K. Annamalai (Kyo Kushin Kai Style). He spearheaded the Kyo Kushin Kai style of martial arts and is one of the well-known masters in India.  Success came, as he got acquainted into various styles of karate like Goju-Ryu, Jyoshinmon Shorinryu & Shotokan under various grand masters around the world.

Shihan Rajendran founded the Shotokan Karate Federation in due respect and homage to Master Funakoshi for developing the form (Shotokan) we now practice, which seeks to encourage Karatekas from all over the world to value the true form along with the lessons of nature showing the simple, pure and dynamic way of Karate.

The Shotokan Karate Federation offers training in traditional as well as amateur Shotokan Karate-Do, which emphasizes strong stances and precise techniques. Practice consists of training in kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring).

Shihan Rajendran has effectively trained and guided his students to the State, National & International Tournaments, which includes winning Medals of Honor at the SKDUN World Tournaments held in France Vojecourt in 2008, Lons le saunier 2010, and Novisad in 2013 representing India.

Shihan Rajendran K is also one of the World Founder Member in SKDUN, who has actively trained instructors from different countries in order to spread Shotokan Karate Federation throughout the World and has had 3 appearances in the World Tournaments held by Shotokan Karate Do of United Nations.

Apart from being one of the most sought after karate instructor, he is also a good sportsman & is interested in diverse sports.
