Mahalakshmi Instructor incharge of Japan Shotokan Karate - Do India Federation, who has done her Engineering in Electricals and Electronics had been trained under Master Rajendran guidance since the age of 5 years. She has taken over the organization after her father’s demise in 2016.
Her achievements are as below:

1) 1st Place in Budo-Ryu Gojukai Karate Championship in 1998

2) 1st Place in Joshimon Karate Championship in 1991
|
3) 1st Place in Bangalore City Karate- Do Association Open Karate Championship 2001
|
4) Followed by Many Other National Championships held by various organizations
|
5) Black belt in 1999
|
6) Black Belt 1st Dan in 2000
|
7) Black Belt 2nd Dan Recognized by All India Karate- Federation in 2006
|
8) Black Belt 3rd Dan in 2008 under Master Toshiaki Namiki.

9) Black Belt 3rd Dan in 2011 under Master Rajendran. Has taken part in the seminars held Sensei Namiki, the Seminars were consecutively conducted in India for 6 years.

10) Has appeared in the 24th SKDUN world tournament in 2016 held at Burgas, Bulgaria in October 2016 and has directed her team to win medals.

11) Has appeared in the 25th SKDUN world tournament in 2017 held at Eger, Budapest in October 2017 and has guided her team to win Gold and Bronze medals. The Indian Ambassador in Hungary has appreciated her effort towards Karate and had met her for a tea during the championship, has been appointed as Country Director for Indian in SKDUN.

12) On October 3rd 2018, has been awarded State Kempegowda Award by the government for the contribution towards karate.

Also, Mahalakshmi is affiliated with the Karate Association of India, and been certified as Coach and Referee Judge B by the Referee commission of Karate Association of India, which is associated with Indian Olympic Association.

Sensei Mahalakshmi has been conducting classes in various reputed institutions. In a short period, she is training around 400 students in her city. She has been a motivating factor amongst many women, she is always willing to perceive her knowledge.
